General Salon Information
Where is Brooklyn’s Curl Suite located?
Brooklyn’s Curl Suite is located at 9A Sanborn Street, Portland, Maine 04103. Our cozy, private salon is designed for a one-on-one curl experience tailored to your hair needs.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked directly through our website via our reserve page. New clients should start with the New Guest page for a customized to get started.
What are your salon hours?
As of right now my hours are 10-5 Tuesday through Friday.
Policies & Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a fee.
Do you accept walk-ins?
No, Brooklyn’s Curl Suite is an appointment-only salon to ensure a personalized, private experience for each client.
Are refunds available for services?
Due to the nature of hair services, we do not offer refunds. However, if you have concerns about your haircut or treatment, please contact us within 7 days to discuss adjustments.
Maternity Leave & Future Bookings
Are you accepting new clients?
I am always accepting new clients however I am not taking new clients only in April 2025 due to maternity leave. If you're a new client, you can book through March and you will be able to book normally in August when I return.
How do I book an appointment after maternity leave?
Returning clients will be pre booked in person through March and April. I will be checking my email as I am able to throughout my maternity leave for booking requests. The end of July and August will open online in the end of May and beginning of June of online bookings.

Curly Hair Education & Maintenance
We no longer offer touch-up services, global color, or highlighting services. If you're looking for a color specialist, we recommend Bianca Pelletier at Mint Salon Block in Scarborough, Maine.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing varies based on service type. You can find a full list of services and pricing on our experiences page
Do you offer children’s haircuts?
Yes, services listed on the New Guest page are for all ages.
Products & Recommendations
What hair products do you use?
We primarily use Davines, a high-quality, eco-conscious brand known for its balanced formulations. If you’ve been using Innersense and love it, you’re welcome to continue using it, I still think it is a great product line, but we’ve transitioned to Davines due to improved product availability and long-term performance.
Do you sell products at the salon?
Yes! We offer a curated selection of Davines mini's and sample products that support curly hair health. Ask during your appointment for personalized recommendations.
